Member Services Representative

The Member Services Representative will be directly responsible for answering incoming provider and member phone calls regarding claims, eligibility, benefits, and payment inquiries. Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus. The Member Services Representative will also serve as support to the Claims Processor (as needed). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, monitoring and adjudicating medical, dental, and vision claims and ensuring timely processing and payment of claims.

The Member Services Representative will have talent and experience in both customer service and/or claims processing and will be expected to take part in both daily position responsibilities (listed below), as well as various team projects. The Member Services Representative is expected to be a team player, therefore, a good attitude and strong work ethic are imperative, as well as excellent communication skills both written and verbal. The Member Services Representative will report to the Member Services Team Lead.

Position Responsibilities

• Provide customer service regarding claims, eligibility, benefits, and payment inquiries

• Process Medical, Dental, and Vision claims utilizing ICD-9 and CPT codes

• Ensure timely submission and payment of all Medical, Dental, and Vision claims

• Review medical billing and coding, perform various data entry tasks, and file documents

• Provide customer service support regarding claims, eligibility, and payment inquiries

• Manage claim files (locate/request files, file claim documents, reconstruct missing files, transfer misfiled documents, etc.)

• Retrieve, print, fax, or mail supporting documentation to providers or others as directed following strict HIPAA protocol.

• Provide backup for any support functions in the office

• Receive, screen, and route incoming telephone calls and other electronic correspondence

• Contact or receive contact from customers or other authorized third parties to obtain and/or provide necessary file information to comply with quality and process standards

• Generate and send appropriate forms to claimant for completion

• Complete all necessary forms, log documents into the system, and route them to the appropriate parties

• Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality at all times and protect all personal health information (PHI) as it relates to patient data

MEDICAL Claims TEAM LEADER

Position Responsibilities

• Maintain staff by recruiting, onboarding, and training team members and developing personal growth opportunities for staff while ensuring they have the tools they need to succeed

• Effectively communicate job expectations and monitor job performance through use of KPIs and other performance metrics

• Maintain quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards, identifying industry trends, and recommending system improvements

• Guide and assist team members in processing medical, dental, and vision claims

• Review processed claims to ensure correct CPT, ICD-4, and ICD-10 codes are used

• Handle escalated calls and resolve issues that require unique problem solving

• Maintain knowledge of health claims, coding, and processing guidelines

• Maintain knowledge of all plan designs including PPO, fully insured plans, self-funded plans, HSAs, HRAs, indemnity plans, supplemental medical plans, etc.

• Assist HR Director in coordinating reviews for team members at 90 days, 6 months, etc. and provide timely and constructive feedback to team members

• Provide support for the implementation of software and training programs

• Work with Operations team to research, coordinate, develop, and improve work processes and efficiencies

STAFF
ACCOUNTANT

Reports To

The Staff Accountant reports directly to the Controller at Benveo

Position Type

Full-time

We are currently looking for a self-motivated, data-driven individual to join our team as a Staff Accountant. The Staff Accountant is directly responsible for the proper recording of day-to-day transactions and maintaining the general ledger, as well as accurately and efficiently performing a wide variety of other accounting duties at the discretion of the Controller. Position Responsibilities

Perform full-cycle accrual accounting for three separate but similar healthcare entities, including general ledger activities, bank account transfers, claims payments, reconciliations, monthly auditing, reporting, etc.

• Manage bi-monthly invoicing and collections, including daily A/R and weekly A/P

• Handle the monthly collection, recording, and reconciliation of employee credit card statements
and expense reports

• Assist the Controller with month-end closing and other month-end tasks

• Conduct research and analyze data to prepare reports for both internal and external purposes

• Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality at all times as it relates to all three entities
